BECAUSE OF YOU, 56 girls in Kenya will begin or continue their high school education this year, making friendships along the way that will last a lifetime.
BECAUSE OF YOU, 30 new girls will have their first classes in the Sparks Lab at JAMS this year and 26 girls will continue learning science.
BECAUSE OF YOU, 56 girls in Kenya will be in computer literacy classes this year who otherwise wouldn’t be. Thank you for educating girls and changing the world!
These scholarships are arriving just in time. Due to the dire impact of the pandemic on the Kenyan economy, many small businesses have closed in the rural area where JAMS is located, leaving families unable to pay tuition and fees for their bright, determined daughters. Yet, education remains the single most effective investment in the future for developing countries like Kenya, especially for improving the lives of women and children.
