JAMS Class of 2021 graduated in April 2022 due to mandated COVID closures.

Please support the girls at JAMS on the global day of generosity, Giving Tuesday, held this year on November 29, or in your end-of-year charitable giving.

The new first-year girls will enter JAMS in January 2023. Our goal is to provide 20 new scholarships for this Class of 2026, to support bright girls who are orphans or whose parents cannot pay tuition.

Studying together at JAMS

In Kenya, even public high schools require parents to pay fees and room and board, so public school is not an option for our scholarship students.

Can you help provide this life-changing opportunity?

You can give in two ways:

  1. By check using the downloadable donation form

  2. By credit card

Gifts of any amount are very welcome and make a difference. A full-year’s scholarship is $800 and provides tuition, room and board, clothes, school supplies, and medical care. You can become a sponsor of an individual student when you give $400 or more; you will receive letters and grade reports from her.

The JAMS founder-directors screen applicants carefully, to make sure that scholarships go to those truly in need. Without scholarships, these girls would not progress beyond the 8th grade.

A high school education makes possible greater prosperity, better health, and more self-determination for young women and their future families. For JAMS grads, it has meant that the great majority of them have been able to go on to further education and prepare for careers in business, education, medical fields, science, agriculture, and computer science. Their success is also success for their communities, their nation, and ultimately the world.

Please help us change the world, one girl at a time!
