During the rainy season, sticky mud filled the pathways at JAMS. Deep mud made walking from building to building both unsafe and very messy. A generous donor to Friends of JAMS contributed funds to pave the pathways and construct concrete benches where the students could study or socialize outdoors in fine weather.
These improvements were completed in January 2024, well before the spring monsoon began. Outdoor drinking fountains and handwashing facilities have also been added. They increase hydration and sanitation for students and staff.
As you can see, the students are enjoying the enhancements on JAMS beautiful campus!
