JAMS broke ground on the Resource Center in July 2018. Completion is projected for July 2019. The Resource Center will include a computer lab, an expanded school library, two community education classrooms, offices for the teachers, and a storefront to sell the eggs, bread, milk, and other products produced by the on-campus microenterprises.
The computer lab will allow JAMS to include computer literacy in the curriculum, better preparing the students for college and jobs.
Friends of JAMS has pledged to raise $30,000 to provide the Resource Center with computers, tables, bookshelves, desks, chairs, and internet connectivity. We are now over halfway to our goal, having raised $19,210 so far, including the recent donations during Give DeKalb County. Can you help us reach our goal?
