Please support JAMS’ students on the global day of generosity, Giving Tuesday, held this year on December 3. You will be helping to improve the lives of JAMS’ girls and their communities.
Your donations will supply funding for continued growth and success at JAMS.
- A new dormitory building is nearly complete, but still needs a shower room, toilets, beds and linens as well as gutters, outdoor paving, and landscaping.
- Water conservation, solar power, biogas, and other sustainability projects that you fund will increase operating efficiency and keep tuition low.
- Laptop computers and new textbooks aligned to Kenya’s revised high school curricula in all subjects are needed.
- New and renewed scholarships will enable more bright girls from impoverished families to get an education. A full scholarship of $800 provides tuition, room and board, clothing, school supplies, and medical care. Donors of $400 or more received letters and grade reports from the girls they sponsor.

Gifts of any amount are very welcome and make a difference. Friends of JAMS is an all-volunteer organization and sends 94% of all donations directly to the school.
All JAMS graduates qualify for higher education and most go on to universities or professional colleges. A JAMS’ student summarized how JAMS prepares girls both academically and personally: “There are great things at JAMS indeed. Most of all is the love from the teachers and fellow students. JAMS is just like home away from home. We stay together as a family showing love, care and concern about each other.”
