All 45 of JAMS graduating seniors scored high enough on the Kenyan national exams to qualify them for entry into higher education. Of this year’s graduates, 39 girls or 87% earned direct entry into a university. The other 6 students, 13%, earned admission to technical institutions and diploma courses. JAMS graduates have bright futures!
These extremely high results stand out in comparison to other high schools in Kenya. Of the 964,978 Kenyan seniors who sat for the 2024 exams, only 26% scored high enough for college admission.
Scores on the nationally-administered exam were announced this month.
