JAMS Class of 2017

Each November, fourth-year secondary students across Kenya take the national graduation exams. Those who pass these exams receive their Kenyan Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), the Kenyan equivalent of a high school diploma.

The results of the national exams are out earlier than usual this year. And there’s good news for JAMS!

The JAMS Class of 2017 placed 2nd out of 32 schools in the district! In the county, JAMS class of 2017 placed 7th out of over 150 schools. In addition, 50% of the students qualified to go to university while the other 50% qualified to go to vocational colleges.

Wonderful! Congratulations to the students and teachers!
